About Lodge Two Queen Suite

Warm earth tones, a granite entry, luxurious wool carpet and a comfortable sofa seating area creates an inviting welcome to the Lodge 2 Queen Suite. A fireplace (are in some of the rooms) divides the sitting area from the bedroom which has two elegantly appointed Queen beds. An ultra spacious bathroom features a soaking tub, large walk-in shower, detailed golden granite floors, walls and double sink vanity. A walk-in dressing area also offers built-in cabinet dressers and convenient ski closet. Two flat-screen HD TV’s can be enjoyed in the sitting area with a fold-out sofa, and also in the bedroom. All rooms provide safes, refrigerators, free WIFI and iHome clock radio/charging dock.

Cancellation: A deposit equal to one night's lodging is required at booking. For all ski package reservations, 50% deposit required at booking. All cancellations are subject to $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be received 30 days prior to arrival. If cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be forfeited. For holiday periods: Full payment due 90 days prior to arrival. All cancellations are subject to $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be received 90 days prior to arrival. If cancellation is made between 90 and 31 days from arrival, the first nights lodging is forfeited. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are subject to full forfeiture of reservation.

Built in 1936, the historical Sun Valley Lodge's elegance from another time lives on. Recently redecorated, Averell Harriman's interpretation of "roughing it in luxury" remains steadfast. Enjoy upscale accommodations and fine dining in a majestic four-story hotel while your camera captures the beautiful and breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain range.

Each of the Lodge's 148 rooms were extensively remodeled with new furniture, French country interiors, marble appointed bathrooms and flat screen televisions.

Other services and amenities offered in the Lodge include: The Lodge Dining Room, Gretchen's, the Duchin Lounge and Bar, Sun Valley Salon & Day Spa, massage center, sauna and heated outdoor swimming pool, workout facility, bowling alley, game room, room service and gift shop. The Sun Valley Resort is located about a mile and a half from the River Run Ski Lodge on Bald Mountain. Make use of the Lodge Concierge when looking for recommendations on where to eat or other activities around the area - they can help make reservations for you!

The Sun Valley outdoor Ice Rink is located just adjacent to the Lodge with ice skating year round! In addition, there is an indoor rink where you can catch an exciting Sun Valley Sun's hockey game during their season. The Sun Valley Pavillion is also close by and plays host to a variety of concerts and activities during the summer months sure to please anyone.

Resort Fee covers: airport shuttles, high-speed internet access in all rooms and condominiums (wired and or WiFi), local phone calls, parking (self & valet), swimming pools, fitness centers, newspapers (Hotels, Lodge Apartments & Cottages), and overnight ski storage at River Run and Warm Springs (Winter Season).

The Resort will be undertaking a major renovation starting in April of 2014. The Lodge building will be closed between September 1 and June 15, 2015 in order to renovate the interior of the Lodge and its rooms. The goal is to keep the wonderful feeling of the Lodge while at the same time providing the modern comforts and conveniences that our guests expect, fitting the Lodge for the next 75 years of fun in the sun!

"We made a pre-holiday packaged vacation reservation through InIdaho.com to ski and stay in Sun Valley. From Boise, we arrived at the Sun Valley Lodge at 7:30am on Dec. 17. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day! The folks at the front desk upgraded our room to a Parlor since our room wasn't ready due to our early arrival...(which was fine since we were going to ski for the day and we would store our luggage.) BUT, got this incredible suite overlooking the ice rink & Mt. Baldy! We took the shuttle from the Lodge to River Run and skied all day. The Gondola ride was especially cool! At the end of the day, we rode the shuttle back to the Lodge, and hit the hot pool. In the room, cozy bathrobes & slippers were provided. We hit the hot pool. The hot water felt SO good on our worn-out quads & calf muscles. We are going to do this again next year! "
